The Mission of the School Health Program is to foster the growth, development and educational achievement of all students by promoting health and wellness in the following ways:

- providing first aid, emergency treatment, intervention, and referral for physical, psychological, social-emotional and behavioral issues
- administering direct care for special medical needs
- monitoring health status and management of screening programs to identify health concerns
- Vision screening in grades K-6 and 9
- Hearing in grades K-3, 6, 9
- Height and Weight and BMI measurement in grades 1,4,7,10
- Scoliosis screening in grades 5-9
- building partnerships to ensure referral to quality services that are effective, culturally appropriate and responsive to the diverse and changing needs of our students and their families. See Brochure
